Heartbreak

She’s all that my heart smiled at
I couldn’t help but gladden at her charms
We could have made a million memories
Of kissing, caddling and loving like never before

It was now that my love started roaring
With an aim of marking territories
Making it clear,of mine and her kingdom
It was now I wanted to call her princess

But like a bird, into the bush she flew
Slipped out of my lips to filthy grounds
The fresh milk pouring in the sand
While my beautiful rose withered in the sun
The eagle snatched it from under my nose
